You’ll find gorgeous gowns and smart suits along with everything you’ll need in between including shoes, hair accessories, cot bedding and fashion clothing for an alternative to the traditional communion/christening wear.

Here’s their Fleetwood Market story…….

“Cheeky chops first established a stall on Fleetwood Market in June 2010, specialising in children’s clothing from everyday use to designer wear and special occasion wear.  Our range of products includes: Sarah Louise, Little Darlings, Fire Trap, Ben Sherman, Co-Co and more.  We take pride in keeping customers happy and we go the extra mile in making sure our customers have a satisfying shopping experience. The best thing about being a market trader has to be dealing with our loyal client base and the banter we have with them. It’s not unusual for customers to travel from around the north west region as they know we stock what they want and some holiday makers visit us every year to make that special purpose for the grand kids!”

They currently have a special offer of 40% off Sarah Louise Fashion so bag a bargain on this gorgeous range whilst stocks last.

Cheeky Chops is open every market day; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday year round from 9am – 4.30pm.

Skye’s Deli opens its doors at Fleetwood Market

L to R: Dave and Rob of Skye’s Deli

Today marks the dawning of a new era for experienced market trader Rob Brown as he opens “Syke’s Deli” at the seaside shopping experience that is Fleetwood Market……..

“My name is Robert Brown and people who visit the market will know me in my previous role as owner of Market Pet Supplies.

After 10 years with the pet stall I fancied a new business venture before I retire and felt a market deli was something I could get me teeth into, so to speak.

As a fond reminder of my time at the pet stall I chose to name my new business after family pet Skye, our bearded collie dog.

My wife and I are somewhat “afternoon tea aficionados” and this was reason enough to bring a great afternoon tea offer to shoppers at Fleetwood Market aswell as other delicious treats to try. With the help of Wyre Council we have worked together to renovate the unit and it is looking great and we’re excited to get going.
Where possible we source all our produce locally – from breakfasts to lite bites for lunches, cheeses to olives, cakes to coffee there’s lots on offer.

We’ll have new specials each day so there’ll be something to tasty to try every time you visit. Ably assisted by Dave (affectionately referred to as head chef) you’re guaranteed a warm welcome so pay us a visit soon, your business is our pleasure.”
Skye’s Deli is open every market day; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday year round from 9am – 4.30pm.

It’s great to have such a loyal client base as they know I can source most things for their knitting and crafting needs. They quite often ring ahead of their visit and let me know what they need, I’ll get the goods ordered in for them if I don’t have the item on the stall (which is unlikely!) and let them know when they can collect.”

Fleetwood and Poulton Markets need your votes!

Fleetwood Market stallVoting has opened for the “Great British Market Awards 2016” and our very own markets at Fleetwood and Poulton have been nominated.

Voting is easy – simply enter either “Fleetwood Market” or “Poulton Market” (or submit a vote for each if you are feeling generous) – that’s all it takes, submit your vote HERE.  Voting is open until 31 December.

Markets are at the heart of communities everywhere, but they need more ‘official’ recognition if they are going to get the investments they need and deserve. Help us raise the profile of our markets here in Wyre, after all they provide an excellent economic boost for our area.

Christmas opening times at Fleetwood and Poulton Markets

Christmas Openings 2015We’ve got your Christmas shopping covered at Fleetwood and Poulton markets and we’re looking forward to welcoming visitors from near and far over the festive period.

In addition to our Christmas opening hours we will also be welcoming a very special visitor at Fleetwood Market as he takes up residence in his grotto on selected dates in December. Children can bring their Christmas wish lists and hand them to Father Christmas between 10am and 4.30pm on 5, 12, 19, 22 and 24 December (cost £2 per child).

We also welcome visitors to Fleetwood Market between the 5 and 24 December to help Santa find his lost elves and reindeer. Santa’s sneaky helpers have hidden themselves amongst the stalls at Fleetwood Market – there are 32 elves and 8 reindeer to find. Collect your “finding form” near the gazebo in the main hall and start searching. You can be a super seeker and search for all 32 elves or you can choose to search for 8 elves by picking the shorter form. The reindeer are very shy and have hidden themselves very well…..only the very best seekers will find all 8. We will give you one little hint, the reindeer are only in the main hall. Remember, you have from 9am on Saturday 5 December to 2pm on Thursday 24 December to find them all and help Santa. This is a free event although donations to Fleetwood Market’s Children in Need Appeal will be gratefully received.

All the traders and market staff from Fleetwood and Poulton Markets would like to thank you for your custom and wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Fleetwood Market Manager takes the Plunge for Pudsey!

Children in NeedHe won’t need his wellies but our Market Manager Julian Brent, will be making a splash when he plunges into the Dunk Tank in aid of Children in Need, at Fleetwood Market this Saturday 14 November.

Julian says: “I believe Children in Need is a great charity and some of our thoughtful market traders here at Fleetwood Market recommended that I go in the dunk tank as a good way of fundraising. All we ask is that people donate £1 for the opportunity to do so and help raise money for this fantastic cause.”

People may need to form an orderly queue behind our own market traders but don’t worry – we will make sure you get your chance to dunk the manager! Head down to the seaside shopping experience between noon and 2pm (we couldn’t make him suffer much longer than an hour or two).

There will be entertainment for all the family too from 11am and 2pm with bouncy castle, DJ and special appearances from Peppa Pig and Frozen’s very own Olaf.

We hope to see you there and anyone who captures their own pictures of the dunking, feel free to post these to our Facebook page where we will share them all.

You can follow Pudsey’s fund raising total over on Twitter or like the official page on Facebook
